Back on the East side
ah, the joys of air travel.
I've returned to DC... land of 90 degree heat, 100 percent humidity, and an abundance of bugs. Man do I miss these east coast summers.
Well, I guess I miss the people and the hang-outs more than the weather, and the basketball. A couple of fun stories about my trip:
In Denver, I lost my boarding pass at one of the airport bars that we went to. So I return to the gate early while Becton and his roommate 'Rink' go exploring the Denver airport to find a place to smoke. I get my boarding pass and board the plane. I sit on the plane for a while and since its a full flight the flight attendant comes up to me and says, "Lucky you, you have two open seats next to you on full flight"
"Well, this seat is for my friend who is getting married."
"The door's closed, I don't think he's getting married"
"How about you open that door up?"
So looks like they can actually open that door again, if you are late... and getting married!

See, here's how it would have gone with me:
"The door's closed, I don't think he's getting married."
"How about you open that door up?"
"Are you threatening me, sir?"
:: stewardess motions for armed federal air marshalls ::
"No, ma'am, I was just saying that my friend..."
:: I get tasered ::
:: I twitch ::
:: I get tasered again ::
You get the idea. It'd be like Anger Management, but funny.
Congrats to your friend!
